Back to school yesterday, for the final time, the last semester. However, we need not get reflectional - YET. To usher in the new year, 2010, and catch up with friends, much drinking has been done these past few nights. First night back (Sunday) - 1020 for-four hours or so. Salts McGalts, Robin Hood, EoH, Rufus, Horchata, my cousin, Cherry Island; everyBODY was out.
Monday was special. Saw Book of Eli with Sweats, it was pretty good. Classic Denzel. Happy hour blends & darts at 1020 with Dick. Dinner at his girl's place, then THE DUCK (111th & 2nd). Quack Quack! We are a group of seven and walk there around 830. Play some more darts and choose our jams from da jukebox: Janis Joplin, Jonny Cash, CCR - what's not to love? I drink a pitcher's worth of Patriot Ale, two shots of Wild Turkey BGOOKK!, two shots of Cuervo, and a Kamikaze. 1020 after to meet up with Gonzo and Sweats, then Knets for cheese pizza.
