Surprise!

Last night: 10pm, surprise party in Shogun for M.D., see some old faces I haven't seen in a while. Drinks, slideshows, cake - it is a merry occasion. And the birthday boy was surprised! always good news. Drink drinks in Shogun until 11:30, then head to EC real quick to meet Rich Boy Tell 'Em. Drop off some treats, have a beer, and I'm off! to PDA, to meet back up with the birthday boy and his crew.
Blend at PDA with Rocky, Sauna, MJdubs, M.D., and Hu$tla for a couple of hours. We catch up, talk, drink, blend. Time flies, as the cliche goes, and it's all of the sudden 3 in da morning! Many of us part, say our good-byes, and MJdubs and I meet the lovely V.C. and dashing A.G. on our way back to 9 & 3/4 for a yum yum sesh. Lisa Leslie brings a couple, and we have ourselves a group. Fifteen minutes later, I'm sitting at Tom's Restaurant with the three musketeers, devouring a swiss cheese omelette and swiss cheese fries (my go-to, it's what I do). I am fucked up and do not say much. It is a quiet meal - I prefer, instead, to listen to the girls talk about whatever they were talking about. It's a solid night and I'm in bed by 4am.
It's been a long (but interesting) weekend.
